After two years at a community college in Georgia, Casey Williams pitched for the fledgling Eagles softball program in 2008 and 2009.
A native of Australia, Casey’s pitching put Eagles softball on the map in 2009, when she led the RMAC in strikeouts (185 in 156.2 innings), ERA (2.46) and batting average against (.220) while giving up just 124 hits and going 15-10 in the circle. She was voted the RMAC Pitcher of the Year and was on the Daktronics All-Central Region Second-Team.
Also a 4.0 student, Williams was voted the RMAC Academic Player of the Year in 2009 and was placed on the ESPN The Magazine’s Academic District First-Team and All-American Second-Team. She and her husband, Joel Mulpeter, live in Salt Lake City, where she designs and delivers programs in leadership development for a global corporation.
Her parents, Fred and Rhonda Williams, are coming from Australia for the Hall of Fame festivities.
