Chadron State College Athletic Hall of Fame
Jared Lee came to Chadron State from Doherty High School in Colorado Springs, where he was all-conference while playing both offense and defense at a large school. At CSC, he was described as a “fiery leader with excellent athleticism and a football attitude.” He took over at left tackle when Chase Olsen was injured in 2004, and starred there the next two years.
Lee, who was 6-4, 280 pounds, was selected for the Nebraska NCAA D-II all-star team by the World-Herald team in both 2005 and ’06 and was a First-Team all-RMAC as a senior when he was also Second-Team All-Southwest Region and Third-Team Football Gazette All-American.
Jared resides in his hometown and is a superintendent for a large construction firm that frequently has projects on several military facilities, including the Air Force Academy, near Colorado Springs. He and his wife, Kristen, have 10-year-old twin boys. Jared takes time to have fun. He has been invited to compete at the National Amateur Disc Golf National Championships in Austin, Texas, this fall.
